Overview
WHY DHC TRAINING IS DIFFERENT
DHC training is always developed with the client themselves. The combined experience of the primary trainers in both country and headquarters positions means that we understand what organisations and their staff need. When we develop bespoke training, we work with each client to identify their strengths and gaps to ensure that our training reflects the specific needs of the participants, whatever their location, role or experience, as well as meeting their organisational objectives.
In 2024 we decided to develop a suite of training opportunities for our sector, building on our growing relationship with Headset Immersive, VR training experts. The DHC collaboration with Headset allows us to take our experiential learning approach anywhere, providing equal development opportunities for partners, national and international staff.
We know that managing security risks is essential for effective staff and that personal security must be inclusive for all staff. Our trainings are designed to support individual well-being as well as team resilience.
We use a holistic approach to physical and mental safety for better decision making and overall security.
Our unique advantage is that we use Virtual Reality (VR) to bring experiential learning into the classroom.
VR allows participants to experience real life scenarios which can be used to analysis their stress responses in a safe environment.
And finally
This training can be delivered anywhere in the UK or internationally, making it ideal for reaching all staff and partners.
“I can't tell you how much the Hostile Environment Awareness Training stayed in my mind up to this day! I took the travel risk assessment so seriously, including considering my own individual risk factors, and taking as much accountability to prepare and be mindful while on site. Your team did an excellent job!”
